College Football Week 1 Preaseason Poll - Florida Gators Rank #1 in Poll and #1 In Future Odds

August 7, 2009 - With little surprise, defending BCS champions Florida Gators and returning QB Tim Tebow topped the USA Today preseason football coaches poll with 53 first place votes. Florida was followed by Oklahoma Sooners, USC Trojans, Alabama Crimson Tide , Ohio State Buckeyes, Virginia Tech Hokies, Penn State Nittany Lions, LSU Tigers and Mississippi (Ole Miss Rebels).
