July 27, 2008 - The Chicago Bears have signed WR/Kick Returner Devin Hester to a 4 year contract extension for a reported $30M of which $15M is guaranteed. Hester held out of training camp for two days to as a negotiating tactic before showing up to camp. Hester was in the third year of his contract that would have paid him $445, 000. Devin Hester was a game breaker last year for the disappointing Bears. Hester's electric Punt an Kick Returns were the difference in some close games last year. Hester is expected to play a bigger role this year for the Bears at receiver.
