2009 Offensive Outlook:
The offensive line is pretty much the same starting unit with Pro Bowler G Brian Waters as the anchor. The Chiefs were 26th in scoring behind a constantly sacked QB tandem last year. The 2009 KC offense still have to prove it has some talent under Cassel and rapidly disappearing Larry Johnson.
2009 Defensive Outlook:
Horror movies often have sequels and unfortunately for the Chiefs defense the sequel may last a few more seasons. KC lacked a pass rush andrun defense. 1st rounder DE Tyson Jackson will pair with Dorsey on the ends to hopefully bring some rapid development and heat on the ends for new defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast. Veterans LB Zach Thomas and LB Mike Vrabel bring the experience and leadership skills to the developing defense. Overall, to many questions and Chiefs will be in a lot of Over games early in the season.
