They struggled with the run game as they only gained 67 yards on 26 carries. Alfred Morris led the team with 49 yards on 17 carries. Kirk Cousins was sacked twice for a loss 14 yards. Defensively, they completely shut the run game down as Philadelphia gained just 45 yards on 16 carries. They also recovered 2 fumbles and sacked Sam Bradford 5 times for a loss of 27 yards.

Dallas’s was actually tied at 6 with Buffalo at halftime but failed to score in the second half to drop their third game in a row. They had some success running the ball as they gained 121 yards on 25 carries led by Darren McFadden who had 99 yards on 19 carries. Kellen Moore finished the game with a quarterback rating of 17.7 as he completed just 13 of his 31 passes for 186 yards, 0 touchdowns and 1 interception. His favorite target was Brice Butler who had 4 catches for 74 yards. Kicker Dan Bailey missed a 50-yard field goal in the first quarter. Defensively, they couldn’t stop the run as Buffalo exploded for 236 yards on 40 carries. They intercepted Tyrod Taylor once and recovered a fumble and had 4 tackles for losses. They also sacked Taylor 3 times for a loss of 7 yards.

Washington is 8-7 against the spread this year including 8-5 as the underdog. Dallas is 4-10-1 against the spread this year including 1-3 as the favorite. In their 3 game win streak the Redskins have averaged over 32 points and 407 yards of offense. These 2 teams met back in week 13 with Dallas beating Washington on a last minute field goal. This was the Redskins only loss in their last 5 games. Dallas is favored in this game and it remains to be seen if Coach Gruden will rest any of his regulars with this game being meaningless for his team.
