The 10-1 Philadelphia Eagles will travel to Seattle to take on the 7-4 Seahawks in this weeks Sunday night matchup. Both teams are coming off victories last week but the Eagles have a chance to clinch the division this week while the Seahawks are just trying to remain in the playoff conversation. Last week, Philadelphia easily defeated the Chicago Bears 31-3. This was the 9th win a row for the Eagles and their 4th in a row by at least 20 points. Seattle beat the San Francisco 49ers 24-13 on the road. Seattle earned the win despite missing defensive standouts Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor who are both out for the remainder of the season.

Carson Wentz continued his MVP caliber season with another brilliant performance last week. He completed 23 of 36 passes for 227 yards 3 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. He also ran the ball 5 times for an additional 29 yards. His favorite target was tight end Zach Ertz, who had 10 catches for 103 yards and a touchdown. As a team, they rushed for 197 yards with LeGarrette Blunt leading the way with 97 yards on 15 carries. For the season, the Eagles offense has averaged 32 points and 394 yards per game. Defensively, they dominated the Bears allowing them to gain just 153 yards of total offense. They also shut the run game down as the Bears had just 6 yards on 14 carries. The 716 rushing yards the Eagles have allowed this season is the fewest allowed in team history through 11 games. They intercepted Mitchell Trubisky twice, sacked him twice and had 6 tackles for losses.

Seattle earned the win last week with solid play from quarterback Russell Wilson. Wilson completed 20 of 34 passes for 228 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. He also had 7 carries for 25 yards and another touchdown. His favorite target was Paul Richardson who had 4 catches for 70 yards. Eddie Lacy led the run game with 46 yards on 17 carries. On the year, the Seahawks offense has averaged 24 points and 378 yards per game. Defensively, they intercepted C.J. Beathard once and sacked him 3 times. They did a good job against the rush limiting the 49ers to 84 yards on 24 carries, which is an average of 3.5 yards per carry.

Seattle will have home field advantage for this game but are still 6-point underdogs. They have gone 4-6-1 against the spread this season including just 1-4 at home. The Eagles have gone 9-2 against the spread this season including 4-1 on the road. Philadelphia can clinch the NFC east even with a loss as they would capture the division if the Dallas Cowboys happen to lose on Thursday night. Seattle is currently 7th in the NFC playoff race and has made the playoffs for each of the last 5 seasons. The Seahawks will have a tough time stopping one the leagues top rated offensives especially without Chancellor and Sherman.
