Indianapolis Colts Odds to Win Super Bowl 15/2 - Manning Recovering

July 29, 2008 - The NFL Indianapolis Colts have opened up training camp with star QB Peyton Manning at home nursing an infected knee following surgery on an infected bursa sac in his left knee. There are many naysayers from public bettors doubting the ability of the Colts this NFL season. Their four cornerstones of their franchise are recovering from injury - QB Peyton Manning, WR Marvin Harrison, DE Dwight Freeney and S Bob Sanders. The Colts have won the AFC South the past five years and have averaged 12 victories or more. Their blistering starts to the season have been a key for them capturing the AFC South (2005 - 13 straight wins from the start, 2006 - nine in a row, 2007 - lucky seven to begin the season). The Colts are getting underplayed to the start of this NFL season with hype on Patriots, San Diego, Jaguars and Dallas. The Brett Favre saga is allowing the Colts to go under the radar.
