August 20, 2008 - The NFL New Orleans Saints have signed S Lance Schulters to a one year deal. The former all-pro SS from Arizona was invited to camp to try out for a spot on the roster. The NO Saints are looking to upgrade a defense that was made of swiss cheese last year leading to many high scoring games. The New Orleans Saints defense has looked good in their first two preseason games against 2nd string offensive units. The Saints defense will never be confused with the Ray Lewis led Baltimore Ravens Dmen but the Saints D is definitely a sleeper this year for fantasy players and more importantly online bettors. The New Orleans Saints offense will look more like the incredible hulk of an offense they had in 2006 when Sean Payton was Coach of the Year.
