In what has already been toted as the Rematch Bowl, this Sunday February 5th, 2012 will have the New York Giants face off against the New England Patriots for the second time in only 4 years. The last time these 2 football teams met in the Super Bowl, the Giants squeezed a 17-14 victory in Arizona in 2008's Super Bowl XLII. There is no big surprise that odds makers are putting predicting a tight game, with
placing odds in the Patriots favor (-3 or -135).
After their 24-20 loss against the Giants in week 9, some critics are wondering if Tom Brady and the Patriots can pull off a Super Bowl win this Sunday in Indianapolis. Others have been criticizing the Giants running game all season and for good reason. They finished the 2011 season with one of the worst running game in the NFL, leaving most of the scoring resting on the shoulders of Eli Manning. But will Manning be able to stack up the legendary Tom Brady? Many think not! Tom Brady is entering Super Bowl Sunday as one of the greatest Quarterbacks of all time. In the post season, Brady is the most winningest Quarterback ever, with a win % better than even the great Joe Montana.
Super Bowl 46 is looking to be a game of big points and big plays. Sportsbooks are placing the Total Points Odds at 55 (over/under bet -110), expecting Manning and Brady to air it out. Both teams have weak running games as well as weak defenses, even though they have both improved during the post season, so both QB's will be looking to lead their teams to victory.
